High-gloss lushness instantly. Helix brush layers your lashes to their very tips. Super brush delivers maximum fullness. .35 oz.
Although SuperSHOCK Max is marketed as a volumizing formula, it actually does a nice job adding volume and length. Its wand has thin plastic bristles which are set in a helix (sort of a spiral) shape. If you have trouble working with larger mascara wands, you’ll probably have the same issue with SuperSHOCK Max. The tube is a little bulky, but it’s no bigger than Lash Blast packaging.
I really like the way this mascara looks…if I apply it right. I wish the formula were drier because I get sort of clumpy looking results if I apply straight from the tube. Instead, I take the wand out of the tube and wait about thirty seconds before applying. That way, I’m able to get fluttery, virtually clump-free lashes. It also helps to wipe some product off on a napkin. In the photo below I’ve applied SuperSHOCK Max Mascara straight from the tube to my left eye (the one on your right side), and I let the wand air dry for a few seconds before applying to my right eye (on your left):
I don’t have any flaking issues with this mascara, but sometimes it transfers from the tips of my lashes to under my eyebrow by the end of the day. Whether you have this problem will probably depend on your eye shape and the length of your lashes.
If you take the time to apply it right, SuperSHOCK Max is an excellent mascara at an affordable price point. I love the fluttery length and volume it adds to lashes.
