Our lightweight whipped crème foundation gives your skin a boost of moisture without the greasy, shiny finish. You’ll love the dreamy, 100% breathable formula that leaves your skin looking smooth, natural, and matte. Available in 10 shades to match your skin tone.
I think CoverGirl’s description of the finish as ‘smooth, natural, and matte’ is accurate. The finish is much closer to matte than glowy, but it’s a believable, skin-like version of matte. This has a similar texture and coverage to Revlon ColorStay Whipped Crème Foundation, but it’s a little less heavy and it isn’t quite as matte.
If you liked the texture of Revlon’s but found the coverage a bit too mask-like for your skin, you might love CoverGirl’s whipped foundation. Revlon’s packaging is more expensive looking than CoverGirl’s, but CoverGirl’s is less bulky.
I used a buffing brush the first time I tried this and wasn’t happy with the results at all. It looked heavy and accentuated my dry spots. I’ve gotten a much more even and smooth looking finish applying this with a classic foundation brush. Like most foundations, I think this one will work best for normal skin types. If your skin is super dry or super oily, I’d opt for a foundation that’s tailored to your skin type.
Clean Whipped Creme Foundation is available in a nice range of ten shades. I purchased the lightest shade, 305 Classic Ivory:
If you like a natural matte, skin-like finish, I think CoverGirl Clean Whipped Creme Foundation is worth trying. Just be sure to prep well because it accentuated my dry spots.
