Fall Beauty Routines
For me, beauty routines are all about confidence. It’s always nice to look better, but feeling my best is the most important thing. As the weather cools down, my skin and hair inevitably dry out, so I have to change up my routine accordingly. Here are a few parts of my beauty regimen that I just can’t skip in the fall:
For me, manicures are all about looking polished (sorry for the pun!). Gel manicures are a fairly new addition to my beauty arsenal. Up until recently, I did my nails myself. It was easy enough, but my manicures only lasted a couple days before chipping. Now I go to a salon for gel manicures and the process is just so much faster and easier! There’s no drying time and my nails look shiny and perfect for a full two weeks. I also find that regular manicures help to keep my cuticles moisturized in the colder weather.
I wear these year-round, but they really work well with the more glamorous makeup looks I like to wear in the fall! Plus, I don’t need to wear mascara with extensions, so removing my makeup at the end of the day is a million times easier!
I’ve tried so many shampoos and conditioners, but I always come back to Pantene…their formulations are affordable, easy to find, and most importantly, they just work! Right now, my hair is pretty dry, especially at the ends (I think I spent too much time in the pool over the summer!), so I’m loving Pantene Pro-V’s Daily Moisture Renewal Nourishing Shampoo and Daily Moisture Renewal Hydrating Conditioner (buy them here). These are great because they moisturize without weighing my hair down and protect my hair from damage. When my hair gets super tangled, I like to leave the conditioner in my hair for an extra few minutes and brush it out while I’m still in the shower–it works great as a detangler! This is the set of Pantene shampoo and conditioner featured in that Selena Gomez commercial, and she has some of the best looking hair I’ve ever seen!
I try to wear lip balm all year long, but it’s easier to remember in the fall and winter when my lips are always super dry. I’ve tried about a million lip balms, but Paula’s Choice Lip & Body Treatment Balm is still my favorite. If I use it consistently twice a day, my lips are never dry.
Do you switch up your beauty routine in the fall?
