With the release of Made For Me Pinks, L’Oreal has added eight new shades to their Colour Riche Lipcolour line. Two shades are designed for fair skin tones, four are for medium skin tones, and two are for deep skin tones.
About the Formula
Indulge in richness beyond compare with our most luxuriously rich color and intensely rich hydration. Colour Riche® Lipcolour is richer, creamier and more moisturizing than ever before. In addition to nourishing ingredients like Omega 3 and Vitamin E, the formula is enriched with Argan Oil to condition and soften lips. Your lips are kept soft, smooth, and ultra-hydrated. With a spectrum of 42 gorgeous shades from bold to nearly nude, Colour Riche® Lipcolour offers a shade that’s perfect for every look and any occasion.
We’ve all tried a Colour Riche lipstick at some point. I really like the formula. It’s creamy and moisturizing, but not so creamy that I worry about smudging. You might find the scent off-putting (it smells a little like plastic), but I don’t mind it. I included the shade Fairest Nude in my Top Five L’Oreal Products.
About the New Shades
The eight new Colour Riche Lipcolour shades are in the pink family. Although each shade is designed for a specific set of skin tones, many of them would complement a range of skin tones if not everyone. The shades for medium skin tones are Pink Flamingo, Wisteria Rose, Everbloom, and Fresh As A Rose. Miss Magenta and Raspberry Rush are for deep skin tones. I purchased the two shades for fair skin tones:
Ballerina Shoes is a highly frosted pale pink. I love the color, but the finish isn’t working for me. Sometimes frosts can look nice, but I think the combination of pale pink and frost makes Ballerina Shoes look very dated:
I Pink You’re Cute is bright, but it’s not overwhelming. It’s cooler toned than it appears in the tube:

Everyone looks good in pink so I’m loving L’Oreal’s new Made For Me Pinks. I’d avoid Ballerina Shoes unless you’re a huge fan of frost. Other than that, I’d say it’s safe to try any shade from this awesome range of pinks regardless of your skin tone.
